A person who has voluntarily surrendered a drivers license under this section may apply for reissuance of the license only after a lapse of at least 6 months in the manner set forth in § 93.5 (relating to reissuance procedure). Chapter 15 (relating to licensing of drivers) may voluntarily surrender their drivers license by forwarding it to the Bureau of Driver Licensing, together with a form prescribed by the Department indicating their desire to surrender the license.
